Who Should do this Course?
This course is for anyone required to operate a forklift truck within Australia as specified by Safe Work Australia. This unit of competency specifies the skills and knowledge required to operate a forklift truck safely in accordance with relevant legislative requirements.
Course Content
The course consists of theory & practical training, followed by an assessment day which consists of both written & practical components.
This unit focuses on the safe operation of a forklift truck but excluding pedestrian-operated trucks or pallet trucks. Proper planning, execution, and adherence to legislative requirements are pivotal for individuals seeking to operate forklift trucks safely and responsibly.
Competence in this unit does not grant a High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) for forklift operation. A separate HRWL is essential for individuals performing this work.
Compliance with WHS Regulations: This unit aligns with Part 4.5 of the Model Work Health and Safety (WHS) Regulations, meeting HRWL requirements at the Commonwealth, State, and Territory levels.
Course Requirements
Appropriate clothing and covered shoes or boots, food and drinks. This course is covered in a face to face learning environment. There are no entry requirements for this qualification.

Course Fees
All enrolments are considered tentative until payment has been received. Full course fee must be paid within 48 hours of enrolment.
Course Outcome
Upon successful completion participants will receive a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment of TLILIC0003.
