Who Should do this Course?
This course is a requirement for anyone employed in the education or care sector within Australia as specified by Safe Work Australia. It is designed for those working with children or infants. Suitable for both people in workplaces and members of the public who would like a comprehensive first aid course.
Course Content
The course consists of theory & practical training, followed by an assessment day which consists of both written & practical components.
This course is designed to provide suitable training for anyone who may face an emergency life support need in either the community or place of employment. It covers in greater detail the following:
- How to respond to an emergency situation
- How to apply the appropriate first aid procedure to events
- Learn how to communicate details of incidents
- Learn how to review the incident after it has occurred
Course Requirements
Appropriate clothing and covered shoes or boots, food and drinks. This course is covered in both a face to face & online learning environment. Basic numeracy and English literacy is a requirement.

There are no preparation requirements for this qualification.
Course Fees
All enrolments are considered tentative until payment has been received. Full course fee must be paid within 48 hours of enrolment.
Course Outcome
Upon successful completion participants will receive a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment of HLTAID012
